BEFORE YOU SELECT A SIZE
Four steps for making a better sizing decision.
The size printed inside a product you already own may not translate directly to another brand or style. Use the exact product’s information and compare it with current measurements before checkout.
Use the exact product guide
Review the sizing information linked or displayed for the exact brand and style being purchased. Do not substitute a chart from a different garment or manufacturer.
Measure before ordering
Use a flexible measuring tape and take current measurements over light clothing or the type of clothing normally worn beneath the product.
Consider the intended fit
Decide whether the product should fit close to the body, follow a standard everyday fit, or allow additional room for layering and growth.
Review the purchase terms
Team-branded, decorated, custom, and personalized products may have limited exchange or return eligibility. Confirm the applicable policy before purchasing.
HOW TO MEASURE
Use current body measurements—not assumptions.
Stand naturally, keep the measuring tape level, and avoid pulling it so tightly that it compresses the body. When possible, have another person take the measurements.
MEASUREMENT REMINDER
Record measurements in the unit used by the applicable product guide. Do not round down to fit a preferred size.
Chest or Bust
Measure around the fullest part of the chest or bust. Keep the tape level across the back and allow normal breathing.
Natural Waist
Measure around the natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape level without pulling it tight.
Hips or seat
Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat while keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Product-specific measurement
Swimwear may require torso or girth measurements, while fins or footwear may require foot length. Follow the exact instructions shown in that product’s guide.
PRODUCT-SPECIFIC GUIDANCE
Different products require different sizing decisions.
Use the guidance below as a starting point, then follow the measurements and chart provided for the exact product being ordered.
Review the product and organization-store return terms before ordering, especially for decorated, custom, or personalized merchandise.
